One of the questions I receive most often is how I color grade my footage. Much of the look comes from the Fujifilm recipe I use while filming. The rest comes from small decisions: where the light falls, how I move the camera, and what I leave out in the edit.

My husband taught me the technical side of the camera. My own way of framing developed through walking around our home, experimenting and noticing which images I wanted to return to.

This guide brings together the tools and choices that currently work for me.
